Structural Realignment – Drug-free medicine!

A Sublaxation is a misalignment or malposition of a vertebra bringing pressure to bear upon a nerve. This interferes with the transmission of nerve impulses, the basis of good health and well-being.

NO, IT IS NOT! And the problem is that the damage is already substantial.

Symptoms of pain are not a good indicator of your state of well-being.

Without a normal well-functioning nervous system, affected organs and tissues are more susceptible to disease, often producing the symptoms of pain and ill-health. Headaches, low back pain, neck and shoulder problems, sciatica, digestive problems, muscular aches and pains, trapped nerves, tingling, burning sensations and numbness in arms and legs frequently occur. Health and well-being come from within. This is achieved by ensuring a healthy subluxation-free nervous system.Regular structural realignment treatment can help you achieve this wonderful state.

Structural Realignment is a gentle, effective, whole-body manipulative treatment. The practitioner uses only his hands to check nearly every bone in the body and then uses light, swift adjustments where necessary to release stress and correct the alignments of the bones of the spine and other joints of the body.

The purpose of structural realignment is to remove subluxations from your skeletal structure. This enables your nervous system to work with maximum efficiency. This means that all systems of the body are restored to normal function.

How it all works:

The body is an intelligent structure, self-regulating, self-healing. It has Innate Intelligence, that is, the intelligence it is born with. This intelligence coordinates and directs all those bodily functions that enable us to live and enjoy life. Like a conductor directing an orchestra, bringing all the instruments together to make beautiful music. When things go wrong the result is cacophony! So too with your body, as long as your nervous system is functioning well then Innate will work wonderfully well. Your therapist seeks to make that happen by removing spinal subluxations so as to optimise nerve function.

Structural Realignment should begin at birth and continue through life. The birth process is hugely traumatic. The baby has to fight his/her way into life, the head is often rotated to assist entry into the world. Throughout life we experience accidents, stress, difficult and uncomfortable work situations, illness, operations, work related injuries, sports injuries, poor posture, sudden shocks etc. All these contribute to nerve irritation, muscles tighten, bones get pulled out of place and subluxations occur.

BUT the body is good at adaptation. It bends and twists to keep you going. So you get a bit achy, so there is the odd twinge now and again and then it becomes more persistent – but that’s normal, isn’t it?
